OCALA, FL., - The Country Club of Ocala has begun construction on a multi-million dollar renovation project that includes greens, bunkers and driving range renovations, and the overhaul of both clubhouses, pool and fitness center improvements and more.

“This extensive facelift has been needed for many years and will make The Country Club of Ocala more contemporary for current and prospective new members and make our facility more attractive for private meeting groups and charitable functions,” said M.G. Orender, President of Hampton Golf. “This is the perfect time for this endeavor which will enable us to provide a truly great member experience for many more years.”

Centrally located in Ocala, just south of downtown, The Country Club of Ocala was built in 1994 and serves as a premier private country club.

This is the first major renovation of the clubhouses and golf course. Improvements to the clubhouses include expanded casual dining, new locker rooms, a multi-purpose room for meetings and activities, and all new interior decorating.

The golf course will undergo a complete restoration of greens, bunkers and significant forestry work. The original elements of the course will be retained but updated with modern construction and turf grasses.

Situated on 220+ acres in the heart of Ocala, The Country Club of Ocala provides outstanding golf, dining, social and recreational activities within a friendly private club atmosphere.
